Vietnam Airlines Accompanies ITE HCMC 2024
Vietnam Airlines continues its participation in the 2024 Ho Chi Minh City International Tourism Expo (ITE HCMC 2024) as a Diamond Sponsor and the official airline of the event.
The 18th ITE HCMC 2024 will officially take place from September 5-7, 2024, at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), District 7, Ho Chi Minh City. This is an annual, prestigious international tourism trade event in Vietnam, organized under the direction of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism. The theme of this year’s expo is “Sustainable Tourism – Shaping the Future.”
As a Diamond Sponsor and the official airline, Vietnam Airlines will facilitate the participation of major partners and businesses worldwide by providing convenient transportation to the ITE HCMC 2024, elevating the event to an international scale. Additionally, Vietnam Airlines will host various meetings and exchanges, inviting business delegations and media from different countries to Ho Chi Minh City to participate, explore, and sign cooperation agreements with Vietnamese tourism enterprises.
At the event, customers will have the opportunity to purchase gift cards with a 10% discount on the value of domestic economy-class cards for both long and short routes, and receive promotional codes for up to 20% off on many domestic and international flights in standard and economy classes. The discount codes will be available for online purchases via the Vietnam Airlines website/app. Tickets can be issued from September 5 to September 7, 2024, with a travel period from September 5 to December 31, 2024.
Moreover, Vietnam Airlines will host a variety of fun activities at its booth, such as mini-games, lucky draws, and more. Visitors will also have the chance to learn about the airline’s diverse ecosystem of products and services, known for their world-class quality.

This year’s ITE HCMC is expected to host over 500 exhibitors and reputable brands from both domestic and international markets. According to a representative from the Department of Tourism, with comprehensive and strategic investment, Vietnam’s tourism industry is set to thrive and focus on key areas, contributing to making tourism a spearhead economic sector and positioning Vietnam among the top 30 countries with the most competitive tourism industries in the world.
Within the framework of the event, the High-Level Tourism Forum titled “NET ZERO Tourism – Shaping the Future” will also take place. Delegates will discuss and contribute solutions to create and renew tourism products in a long-term direction, meeting the needs of high-spending, long-stay tourists, professionalizing tourism promotion efforts, and enhancing destination management effectiveness.
