ITE HCMC 2025 Fair – the 19th edition of the most prestigious and largest international tourism expo in Vietnam and the Lower Mekong region – will officially take place from September 4th to 6th, 2025 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.
At ITE HCMC 2025, businesses and partners within Vietnam’s and international tourism industry will have numerous opportunities to connect and collaborate in a professional, modern, and vibrant business environment. The expo serves as a hub for domestic and international tourism businesses—especially those from the Lower Mekong countries—to seek business partners and offer a wide range of products to customers. It is also a platform for organizations to access new products and business models, advancing steadily toward sustainable tourism development; at the same time, localities and tourism enterprises will have the opportunity to introduce distinctive tourism products and unique experiences of Vietnam and Ho Chi Minh City to international visitors. The expo also serves as a specialized forum for updating new trends and sharing vital knowledge on the development of the tourism industry.
Honored as “Asia’s Best Trade Show” at the 2024 World MICE Awards, the event’s stature and quality have been significantly recognized on the international stage. ITE HCMC is currently the only tourism fair in Vietnam with an International Buyer Program, playing a vital role in boosting international tourist arrivals to the country.
Constantly expanding in scale and asserting its influence, ITE HCMC 2025 is expected to attract over 520 business exhibitors and 50 Vietnamese representational exhibitors from different provinces and cities, along with 240 high-level buyers from more than 30 countries and territories. The event anticipates over 28,000 visitors and aims to facilitate 12,600 business appointments (B2B Meetings) between international and Vietnamese tourism enterprises.
ITE HCMC 2025 is expected to feature 16 key activities, including trade connection events, forums, conferences, and seminars. In addition to domestic media agencies, there will be coverage from 60 international media outlets, travel bloggers, and tourism KOLs (an increase of 30% compared to 2024);
Notably, from September 3 to 6, 2025, Ho Chi Minh City will host the 12th General Assembly of the Tourism Promotion Organization for Global Cities (TPO) under the theme “Shaping the Future of Tourism: Embracing Digital and Green Transformation.” The Tourism Promotion Organization for Global Cities (TPO) was founded in 2002 in Fukuoka, Japan, with the goal of building a network to promote tourism among cities in the region. Ho Chi Minh City is one of the founding cities and serves as an Executive Committee Member, actively contributing to the organization’s activities. To date, the organization has 131 member cities from 17 countries and territories. Hosting the 12th TPO General Assembly reaffirms Ho Chi Minh City’s position and responsibility as a TPO Executive Committee Member and highlights its leadership role in regional tourism development, enhancing the city’s international standing.
Moreover, for the first time, ITE HCMC 2025 will be held concurrently and at the same venue as the 3rd Viet Nam International Sourcing event, organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade in coordination with the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, featuring major activities such as the 2025 Export Forum and the Viet Nam International Sourcing Expo 2025, which will gather nearly 600 Vietnamese enterprises showcasing tens of thousands of products representing various sectors within the global supply chain with an unprecedented number of participants, including over 300 reputable distribution channels and importers from more than 60 countries and territories.
