A Fresh Identity for ITE HCMC 2025
Building on the success of the 2024 brand identity – which made a strong impression with its vibrant, modern design inspired by the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) – the ITE HCMC 2025 identity takes a more creative and strategic approach. This is not just a visual refresh, but a clear reflection of the Expo’s vision and mission in promoting sustainable tourism, reaffirming ITE HCMC’s position as a leading travel industry event in Vietnam and the Mekong Subregion.
Logo – A Symbol of Integration and Sustainable Development
The official logo for ITE HCMC 2025 retains the multicolored circle – the emblem of the 17 SDGs – and harmoniously integrates imagery representing the five CLMTV countries (Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam), underscoring a shared commitment to sustainable growth. Key design elements include dynamic icons such as airplanes and hot air balloons soaring through the sky, symbolizing the travel industry’s aspirations, and the connection between heritage and innovation — opening up space for deep global exchange and integration.
Key Visual – The Harmony of Identity and Modernity
The key visual is designed to showcase the new face of Ho Chi Minh City post-merger, representing the model of a “regional-integrated megacity”. The design weaves together iconic landmarks including: the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Council and People’s Committee Head Office, Bitexco Tower, Landmark 81, Ba Son Bridge — all linked with symbols such as the Ben Cat Monument, the former Binh Duong Administrative Center, Vung Tau Lighthouse, and its coastal islands. Altogether, it forms a harmonious blend of tradition and modernity, reflecting Ho Chi Minh City as a dynamic socio-economic and cultural hub, as well as a gateway to the unique waterscapes and vibrant coastlines of Southeast Vietnam.
ITE HCMC 2025 – A Pioneering Platform for Green Tourism
With the theme “Sustainable Tourism, Vibrant Experiences”, ITE HCMC 2025 affirms its pioneering role in raising awareness among the community and tourism sector about sustainable development. This year’s expo focuses particularly on encouraging the creation of new, innovative travel products and services – geared toward green, personalized experiences that meet the increasingly diverse demands of both international and domestic tourists.
ITE HCMC 2025 serves as a strategic platform for businesses and localities to showcase distinctive, locally-rooted tourism products through immersive and engaging experiences. The goal is to position Vietnam as a green, safe, and culturally rich destination in the global tourism market.
Affirming International Standing – Promoting Effective Tourism Marketing
Over its 18 successful editions, ITE HCMC has steadily expanded in scale and influence, becoming one of the most cost-effective and impactful destination marketing tools for both domestic and international stakeholders.
Especially noteworthy is ITE HCMC’s recognition as the “Asia’s Best Trade Show” at the 2024 World MICE Awards, a clear testament to the event’s international stature and quality. ITE HCMC remains the only tourism exhibition in Vietnam to host an International Hosted Buyer Program, directly contributing to the growth of inbound tourism. According to the Organizing Committee, as of July 24th, 2025, nearly 200 international buyers have confirmed their participation, representing 24 key tourism markets such as India, Australia, the United States, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, China, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, and more. Among them are major travel corporations such as Collette (USA), DERTour (Germany), Exodus (UK), Flight Centre Travel Group (Australia), G Adventures (USA), Go Way Travel (Canada), HIS (Japan), Intrepid Travel (Australia), JTB Corp (Japan), Thomas Cook (India), and Trip.com (China), as well as large enterprises with corporate travel departments, such as Sinopharm and Xiaomi (China).
More than just a tourism trade platform, ITE HCMC is also a prestigious professional forum where experts, government leaders, businesses, and international media gather to exchange knowledge and stay informed on the latest developments in the era of digital and green tourism. ITE HCMC 2025 will feature a series of high-profile events including the High-Level Tourism Forum – Session II of the 12th General Assembly of the Tourism Promotion Organization for Asia-Pacific Cities (TPO), the conference “Winning the Traveler’s Mind: Destination Branding in the Data Era,” the seminar “National Branding on the Rise: Tourism as a Breakthrough Driver,” and the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Innovation Startup Program, with participation from top speakers and experts from the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), Intrepid Travel, Trip.com, ForwardKeys, and others.
Mr. Le Truong Hien Hoa, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism, shared: “Recognizing the importance of raising awareness for sustainable tourism development and promoting the new image of Ho Chi Minh City as a regional-integrated megacity following the administrative merger, the official announcement of ITE HCMC 2025’s brand identity is a significant milestone. It demonstrates our commitment to encouraging the tourism community and businesses to pursue sustainable development through the expo’s events and activities, while gradually affirming ITE HCMC’s position as one of the most important tourism events in Vietnam and the lower Mekong region.”
